The same cashier, a smaller screen
Euro payments on a phone: wallets, cards and conversion
The cashier on a phone is the same cashier, with the same processor behind it and the same rate logic. What a phone adds is a wallet: a card tucked behind a tap. The wallet does not change the currency of the card or of the payment, so the conversion rules on this site apply unchanged.
We found no operator that describes a separate balance or a separate rate for mobile, and we do not invent one.
Card wallets
BetFury’s home page lists Apple Pay and Google Pay among its accepted payments in its structured data, and its buy-crypto block shows both logos beside Visa and Mastercard. Roobet’s buying article says the process works on mobile devices and lists the same two wallets. In both cases the wallet charges the card behind it. If that card is in euros and the payment is in euros, nothing is converted. If either side differs, the card network or the processor converts it, as on a desktop.
E-wallets and apps
An e-wallet app such as Skrill or Neteller is a balance of its own with a currency of its own. BitStarz’s payments page lists both, in euros, with deposits from €20 to €4,000, instant, fee 0%. If the app’s balance is in euros the payment is a euro payment. If it is in another currency the app converts at its own rate before the casino sees anything, and the casino’s terms cannot help you with that step.
Network changes and a pending payment
A payment started on a weak connection can leave you unsure whether it went through. Do not press the button a second time. Check the bank or wallet app first, since a card payment that was rejected is, per Roobet’s help article, refunded automatically to the original account, while a payment that succeeded will appear as a credit in the cashier after the processor confirms it. Two taps are two payments.
Short answers
Is the rate different on a phone?
Not by anything we could read. The payment goes through the same processor, and the rate is applied there.
Does Apple Pay or Google Pay convert currency?
The wallet charges the card behind it. Conversion, if any, is done by the card network or the merchant’s processor according to the card’s currency.
What if the payment hangs?
Check your bank or wallet app before you try again. A second tap is a second payment.
