Euro at Vave: named in one 2023 article, absent from the next

Vave’s help centre is the oldest source on this site: every article we read is dated September 2023, three years before our reading. One of them names EUR and USD among accepted currencies. Another, written four days later, lists only coins as the currencies you can switch between.

Both are first-party. We report both and draw no conclusion beyond the obvious one, that the pages do not agree and the cashier has to settle it.

The article that names the euro

The article on accepted currencies is one short line: coins, among them USDT on three networks, and then EUR and USD. It is dated mid September 2023. It says nothing like only or the following, so it is a list of names, not a closed list, and it does not say that anything not named is refused.

The article that does not

The article on switching between currencies tells you to log in, press the currency or balance button and choose from a drop-down menu, and says Vave offers several options such as a short list of coins. The word several, and such as, make it a sample. It is dated a few days after the other, and neither EUR nor USD is in it.

A third article, on deposit fees, says Vave charges no fees directly to users but that when making currency conversion deposits there may be additional charges imposed by your bank or payment service provider. That phrase confirms that conversion deposits exist and places the cost with the bank or provider.

What we could not confirm

We cannot say whether the euro is still accepted in the form the 2023 article describes, which rate applies to a deposit or a withdrawal, or whether a euro balance is kept. The articles are old, and a three-year-old help line is a reason to ask, not a reason to rely. We quote no minimum from them.

Short answers

Does Vave accept euros?

An article from September 2023 names EUR and USD among accepted currencies. A sibling article from days later lists only coins. Check the current cashier.

Why are the dates quoted?

Because the pages are three years old and the operator may have changed what it accepts since.

One question before you go

The next page is an operator’s own site, and an account there holds real money. Which of these is true for you?
